2) Stop Tessa Leece.
And it makes sense seeing as the two scored 55 percent of the Patriots points last season, with Leece averaging 11.8 points, and Koski averaging 14.7.
But stopping them is rarely done, so the most opponents can hope for is keeping them in check. A quick look at the book from Thursday’s contest with L’Anse and it appears the Purple Hornets did just that: Koski hovered around her average with 15 points, and Leece finished with just five.
Yet Westwood ran L’Anse out of the gym, winning 63-35, and the Patriots proved there is more to them than meets the eye.
