E very regular season has a finite amount of games, and in the postseason it’s win or go home. But for the first time, that dichotomy changes. Today, it’s lose and go home, or win and go home.
Of course, a win will make the 424-mile drive back to Iron Mountain a much more pleasant one. But for Jaden Vicenzi, Charlie Gerhard and the rest of the Iron Mountain seniors, tomorrow is a little unbelievable. Not just because they are playing for a state title, but because it is the last game they will ever play as Mountaineers.
