T he first UPSSA basketball poll of the 2020-2021 season has been released with Escanaba and Dollar Bay topping the boy’s side, and Menominee and Ewen-Trout Creek taking the top spots for the girls.

After a 73-58 win over Dollar Bay on Feb. 22, Ewen-Trout Creek moved up into the No. 1 spot in the boys' division 4 poll. Dollar Bay dropped to third. Escanaba remained in the top spot for divisions 1-3, while Menominee and E-TC also held their No. 1 spots on the girls' side.
Nick Nora poured in 23 points, with 21 coming in the second half to help Kingsford secure an 87-79 win over Gladstone on Thursday.
