Rapid River

G ame experience is limited for a Norway Knights squad that features just two seniors in its current rotation. There will certainly be frustrations and lessons to be had as this group gets acclimated to each other and the varsity level of competition, but the trials and tribulations of a 20-game season often reveal certain qualities about individuals and teams throughout the year.

In Game 2, the Knights discovered one key attribute: how to win close games.

On the game’s final possession, Norway’s defense was solid enough in altering Rapid River’s Tony DeMars’ look from the right block, and the Knights preserved a 45-43 victory after closing the game on an 8-2 run Wednesday in Rapid River.
