Marquette: Paint proves to be key in victory over Negaunee

One patch of brown floorboards outlined with red.

The paint, the key, the lane. It doesn’t matter what you call it. 

White jerseys and yellow jerseys spent 32 minutes battling for ownership of the small sliver of court.

And that space was the difference between Marquette and Negaunee; the deciding factor in a rivalry game.
