T o understand the biggest difference between Marquette and Kingsford, all you have to do is look at their point guards.
Marquette’s Aspen Michelin is 5-10; Kingsford’s Brooke Kriegl is 5-2.
Then, take a glance around the court and you’ll see similar size differences. Marquette has four players standing at 5-10 or above and three more at 5-9. The Redettes are just as long as they are tall, with arms that get in passing lanes and affect shots. And as tall and long as they are, the Redettes are even stronger.
Compared to them, the Flivvers are immensely undersized, and it showed in Marquette’s 57-30 win Friday in Marquette.
