J ason Waterman could tell there was something wrong with his shot — nothing major, but something small was affecting his production. So, when the cold weather hit Waterman hunkered down at home and started going through film. He played detective and shot doctor at the same time, watching games from his freshman and sophomore years, determined to figure out the problem.
Then, for good measure, he went back even further and watched some from junior high.
I know what you’re thinking, ‘He has film from that far back?’
Of course he does.
“I live with Dan Waterman. I have film on everything,” Jason said.
And sure enough, he saw something. He saw it, he fixed it and he scored 24 points as Negaunee defeated Gwinn 51-45 on Friday in Negaunee.
