I t’s easy to find Alex Studebaker after a Calumet football game.
Just look for the crowd of students, huddled up and waiting their turn for a photo with the lineman. He looks like a local celebrity but assures that isn’t the case.
Even when the idea is presented in jest, Studebaker shrugs it off.
“No,” he says with the slightest hint of a smile, “They are all my friends.”
And what else would you expect from a person who coach John Croze refers to as “the nicest kid ever,” with extra emphasis on “ever.”
