Hancock prevails in OT over rival Calumet

D an Pertile has been trying to instill a sense of patience in his Hancock Bulldogs over the course of the season, repeatedly stressing the importance of staying within themselves when things get tough. The Bulldogs encountered as rough of a stretch as they have all season in the first half of Monday’s game against their rival Calumet Copper Kings, scoring just eight points in the first half.

When things didn’t go their way, they took their coach’s words to heart and fought their way to a 41-35 victory Monday night in Hancock.
