Defense propels Carney-Nadeau past Menominee 51-46

W hen the Carney-Nadeau Wolves are on from the 3-point line, they are one of the most dangerous teams in the UP. C-N coach Jake Polfus has developed a reputation for his team’s fire-at-will philosophy, as opposing coaches prepare for a barrage of 3s when they scout the Wolves.

On a night where C-N was far from perfect from deep, its disciplined defense was enough to propel them to a 51-46 victory over the Menominee Maroons Thursday night in a Carney-Nadeau Holiday Tournament semifinal matchup.
