11-30 boys roundup: Engadine, West Iron County record wins

Engadine

A ndrew Blanchard dropped 32 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out eight assists as Engadine (2-0) defeated visiting Newberry 91-73 in an offensive showdown.

Blanchard scored 13 of his points in the fourth quarter when the Eagles scored 36 points to seal the win. He was also 13-15 at the free throw line.

Drake Dewyse made five 3-pointers and added 19 points for Engadine.
Engadine jumped out to a 17-8 lead in the first quarter, and though Newberry (0-1) did plenty of scoring, the Indians couldn’t make up the early deficit as Engadine continued to pile it on.

Jaylen James scored 18 points for Newberry and Carter Smithson had15.
